For years my carry on luggage has been dominated by a laptop and bag, now I've got a new Dell netbook (a mini laptop - the Dell Inspiron Mini 9) that does everything I need when I am travelling and it even fits in my handbag. It’s been christened "baby Dell" because it's so tiny and cute. It's fantastic. Most hotels and restaurants in Budapest have free wi-fi but when that's not available I just plug in my Vodafone dongle to "baby Dell" and I’m on the Internet. The first time I hooked it up to a data projector to do a powerpoint presentation it worked like a dream! This certainly surprised me. I expected to have to work really hard to get the data projector and "baby Dell" talking to each other, but no, it worked perfectly in seconds.

My new Dell netbook on the right versus my laptop on the left. Just look at the difference in the size!
