The Hungarian name for a Travel Card for the Budapest transport system in Budapest is Turistajegy. Available for 1 day, 3 days or 7 days.

Travel cards are valid on buses, trams, trolleybuses, the metro and the cogwheel railway on the whole length of the line. Travel cards are also valid on the suburban railway (HEV) but only within the administrative boundaries of Budapest.

Your name has to be written on the 7-day travel card (not the 1 or 3-day cards). You have to carry photo ID with the 7-day travel card.
